Mr. Rockwell has been Owner and Chairman of Main Security Surveillance, Inc. since 2005. Mr. Rockwell previously was the majority shareholder and served as a Chairman of Henry Brothers Electronics, Inc. (NASDAQ-HBE). Mr. Rockwell was founder and Chairman of Professional Security Technologies, LLC from 1996 in 2010 certain assets of PST were divested to Henry Brothers Electronics, Inc.. From 1982 to 2003, Mr. Rockwell was founder and owner of Professional Security Bureau, Ltd. (“PSB”), a security guard company services company. In 2003 PSB, with annual revenues in excess of $100 million dollars, PSB was divested to Allied Security. From 1997 through 2003 Mr. Rockwell was co-founder and Chairman of TransNational Security Group, LLC (“TSG”). TSG afforded the member companies with opportunities for national sales and marketing, national contracting and combined purchasing power. From 1985 to 2005 Mr. Rockwell was founder and owner of PeopleVision, a full service advertising and display manufacturing company. From 1981 to 1982 Mr. Rockwell was vice president of legal affairs of Metropolitan Maintenance Company, a publicly traded company listed on the Boston stock exchange. Mr. Rockwell received a Bachelor of Arts from Ithaca College and Juris Doctorate from Western New England College of Law.
Richard D. Rockwell
Mr. Hopkins served as a Chief Financial Officer of Henry Brothers Electronics, Inc. from August 2006 to December 2010. He previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Measurement Specialties, Inc. Prior to that Mr. Hopkins was Vice President of Finance with Cambrex Corporation and Senior Manager with ARCO Chemical Company. Before joining ARCO Chemical Company Mr. Hopkins was an Audit Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers and he became a CPA in 1984. Mr. Hopkins played key leadership roles in the areas of acquisition and divestiture, business turnaround, debt restructuring, and business process reengineering. Mr. Hopkins holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from West Chester University and an MBA from Villanova University. Mr. Hopkins is also currently an Adjunct Professor in the Business Division at Felician College in New Jersey.
Mr. Smith served as Corporate Controller at Henry Brothers Electronics from April 2007 to December 2010. Prior to joining the company, Mr. Smith was Vice President and General Manager of NetVersant of New York, a provider of voice and data system infrastructure from 2002. From 1991 to 2002 Mr. Smith held various senior financial positions with Insilco Technologies, a manufacturer and distributor of electronic components. Mr. Smith is a Certified Public Accountant and began his career as an auditor for KPMG Peat Marwick. Mr. Smith holds a B.S. in Accounting from Fordham University. Mr. Smith is a Long Island, New York resident and operates from our Long Island office.
Before joining NYMP, Mr. Rechner specialized in high volume options processing as a Vice President and Operations Manager in the Investment Bank of Bear Stearns/JP Morgan Chase. Prior to making the switch to financial services, Mr. Rechner was the Director of IT for Insilco Technologies, a global $250M electronics manufacturer. At Insilco, he led the implementation of ERP and designed a global IT footprint to support rapid growth in an acquisitive environment. He started his career as an engineer developing magnetics for high frequency power supplies. Mr. Rechner holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University. Mr. Rechner is a Long Island, New York resident and operates from our Long Island office.
Prior to his appointment at New York Merchants, Mr. Bartolo managed several branch offices for ADT. Throughout his successful career, he has also served as General Manager and Sales Manager for other national security providers such as Protection One and Brinks Home Security. Mr. Bartolo has vast experience in managing and cultivating relationships with national, municipal, and industrial accounts.
